Art has been part of my life since childhood. When I was old enough to be able to hold a pencil I began to create memories from my hand drawn characters and boxes of crayons and colourful pens became my great companions. I inherited this passion from my parents - my mother, a lighthearted lady who taught Art to deaf children at the Helen Keller Institute in Brazil and my father, a highly talented designer who created caricatures and crazy surrealist paintings since he was a young boy in France.

As I grew older, I took every opportunity to search for materials, techniques and ideas and discovered in paper maché sculpting a great way to bring enjoyment, fun and excitement into decoration.

I’ve always dedicated myself to Art as a hobby and while travelling around the world, I paid attention to different art expressions and found great inspiration in Latin America countries with their happy, vibrant and colourful voices.

I understand Art in decoration as a comforting and joyful way to tell stories through colours, shapes and styles; a way to express your inner self and feel the warmth of your place.
